THOMAS J. LANE
JUDICIARY
7TH DIST., MASSACHUSETTS
Congress of the United States
of Representatibes
Washington, D. €.
March 10, 1951
Mrs. Kay Kozlowski
100 Hawthorn Street
Chelsea 50, Massachusetts
Dear Mrs. Kozlowski:
I regretted very much to learn from a news
release of the Department of Defense here in Washington
that your son, Corporal Stephen F. Kozlowski, was killed
in action.
I have contacted the Casualty Division of
the Department of the Army and have learned that he was
killed in action on 13 February 1951 in Chipyong-Ni,
South Korea. No further information is available at this
time.
You have my deepest sympathy in this terrible
loss, and it is my prayer to Almighty God that He will give
Stephen tender attention through eternity.
Sincerely yours,
phomes spane
