Memorandum of Conversation with the President
While I was at the White House this morning, the President
reported that he had had a very satisfactory talk with the leaders
on the Korea Relief Bill. He had been assured that it could be
passed by a handsome majority. We were to take up with them
the Senate Bill and any other details of strategy that we wish.
