MENORANDUM OF CONVERSATION
WITH THE PRESIDENT
Item No. 1
Review of Scandanavian Policy
The President agrees that his primary interest in
suggesting the review vas a review of policy toward
Sveden. He stresses the importance of not overlooking
any possibility of having Sveden drawn more closely
into relationships with the Vest. He is impressed by
the importance of Swedish military resistance, and it
was primarily this which led him to suggest the review.
