Ambassador Dominguez Campora said that I was not losing an ambassador in Washington as he would be an ambassador for the United States in Uruguay despite the fact he might be leaving the Uruguayan Dovernment service. In view of the Ambassador's remarks, I ro- plied that Ambassador Rayndal in Montevideo would find in Ambassador Domingues Campora a good partner. At parting I thanked the Ambassador for the Artigas bust which he had sent me. Dean Acheson ARA:OSASJKEnvemeyerimt D DECL ASSIFIED ity F.O. 1050)
