Item 6.
Israeli Loan Application
The Secretary told me after his appointment with the President
today, that he had discussed the Israeli loan application with him,
and that the President had indicated he would look into the matter
and speak to the Secretary again. The Secretary said that meanwhile
he would discuss this matter with Mr. Webb.
