MEETING WITH THE PRESIDENT
Items 1 and 2.
Suggestions for Press Statements on
the Iranian and Kaesong talks
I left with the $ resident the paper on Iran and said
that we would forward to him this afternoon a revised
statement on the suspension of talks at Kaesong.
I also went over with the President the latest reports
from Mr. Harriman. The President approved Mr. Harriman's
itinerary as contained in his last cable.
