In the course of a conversation which the Secretary had
with Eric Johnston this afternoon, Mr. Johnston brought up
the matter of setting up a Joint Commission with Brazil.
The Secretary said it was his understanding that we already
had one. He said he could not recall the name of the man who
had gone down to head up the Commission, but he recalled
he was the President of the Curb Exchange and had died
en route to Brazil.
The Secretary said he would check this with Eddie Miller
and would have Mr. Miller call Mr. Johnston.
