Dear Miss Evans:
In his letter of December 29th to
Dr. Oppenheimer, Mr. Acheson asked that I
write to all members of the seminar about the
postponement of the January meeting, and I am
sending a carbon of my letter for your files
herewith.
I did not ask Mr. Nitze for his
expenses, because I gather from what you have
written in the past that I would receive a
statement from you, together with Mr. Acheson's.
If I should write directly to Mr. Nitze, please
let me know.
I hope your Christmas was a most
happy one; and I send my best wishes for the
New Year.
