Dear Mr. Nitze:
I am sorry to say that I made a mistake in
the date of the next meeting at Princeton in the
memorandum which Mr. Acheson wrote for that meeting.
It should have read #October 10-11 Meetings" in
accordance with the memorandum of dates sent out
by the Institute for Advanced Study, rather than
"October 9-10 Meetings."
It now seems that Mr. Acheson will not be
able to get from Yale to Princeton on Saturdays
quite so early as he had hoped, but will be coming
down from New Haven and taking a 3:00 p.m. train
from Penn Station, New York, which trains arrives
at Princeton Junction at 3:56 p.m. The meetings
will, therefore, probably start about 4:30 p.m.
rather than 4:00 p.m., as planned.
5.
Sincerely yours,
US:
USABE?
Mr. Paul Nitze,
3120 Woodley Rd., N.W.,
Washington, D. C.
