I am glad that you think\nthat there is useful material in the record of these\nseminars. I have been at work on them, but make prog-\nress slowly. There are many interruptions; and, perhaps,\nas you said in your fine interview with Edward Murrow,\nmore often than not, I greet them with relief.\nBut I shall persevere and hope that before too long\nwe can get them into such shape that they will be use-\nful to others in the future. You were generous to offer\nto help in this, and, if I can think of a way in which\nI can use help, I shall appeal to you.\nAlice and I have not been away on a vacation this\nwinter, but on the contrary have been more than usually\nactive. I spent a week at Yale as a Chubb Fellow, tak-\ning over graduate and undergraduate classes. The week\nitself was strenuous, and the preparation for it equally\nso. Then we went out to spend a few days with the\nTrumans in Independence. This was really a lovely ex-\nperience and refreshed our spirits. Sometime 1 shall\ntell you and Kitty about it.\nI hope that she is well and the children too.\nLefty gives me good reports of you.
