Dear John:
I knew it was a mistake to tell Cass
about the material that I have. It gave him
the impression that my doing anything with it
is much more imminent than it is. I shall,
however, keep your suggestion in mind and talk
the whole thing over with you when I get down
to really working on the stuff again.
In the meantime I am half way through
another story, which unfortunately was inter-
rupted by the altercations in which I have been
so continuously involved of late. Perhaps I can
cool off pretty soon and finish it.
