Mr. Bakur Abbas Khomais

Dear Bakur:
Inclosed are two more pictures which I thought you might like
to have. One is the picture Mr. Awalt took of you and me and the
other is Prince Talaal playing tennis.
I have sent the Prince a picture similar to this one and I hope
he enjoys seeing himself with a tennis racket.
Everyone here is of course greatly disturbed over the war news
and most people seem rather pessimistic about our ability to avoid
war. However, most people seem to feel that if it has to come we
should go ahead and get it over with as soon as possible.
People here are also getting ready for the Christmas Season
which is a very elaborate celebration. If you get to make a trip to
America, I think you should make it in the latter part of December
so you could see the Christmas displays and decorations. I shall
try to take some pictures of these this year and forward them to you.
