JOINT RESOLUTION
To authorize completion and termination of the issuance of immi-
gration visas authorized under the Act of June 25, 1948, as
amended.

Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives
2 of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
3 That the Displaced Persons Commission, the diplomatic and 81
4 consular officers of the United States, and the Immigration
5 and Naturalization Service are hereby authorized to finish

6 processing of all cases of eligible displaced persons and per- IS
7 sons defined in subdivisions (2), (3), and (4) of subsection
SS
8 (b) of section 3 of the Displaced Persons Act of 1948, as

9 amended (50 U. S. C. App. 1951-1952), in the same
10 manner as if subsection (a) of section 3 of the said Act were
