Williams, Sheriff Jackson County, Missouri Court House Kanses City, Missouri Dear Mr. Williags: I am informed that you are going to need a typist in the Independence office, and I would like to suggest Mrs. Laura Ruhlman Hammond for the position. She is competent, and is the daughter of the late Henry Ruhlman who was court deputy in Independence for so many years. Sincerely, HST:MLD Harry S. Truman
