Respoctfully request that I be appointed to the grade of
Major in the Artillery Reserve Corpe.

I servod with the 129th Fiold Artillery in France and was
in command of Enttery D of that orgahizatione I was recomended
for promotion before we sailed for the United States end vas also
recomponded for a lijjor's comission in Reserve Corps on my discharge
at Camp Funston, Kansas, Hay 6, 1919.
