GENERAL IMPRESSION OF THE DAY. Quiet. Enemy movement above normal. II. ENEMY FRONT LINE. THATIONAL No change observed. ARCHIVES AND RECORDS III. ENEMY ORDER OF BATTLE. No known change. IV. ENEMY INFANTRY. Usual Intermittant machine gun fire from front of s/s DERAMEE and BOUEE. Quiet in north half of sector. V. ENEMY ARTILLERY. Increase in s/s VAUX. Otherwise normal. s/s BOUEE. 10 Cal. 77 in vicinity of Villers sous BUCHOMPS and 20 Cal. 150 in vicinity of FOUNTAINE St. ROBERT. 3/s DERAMEE. 5 Cal. 77 on back area and 8 Cal. 77 on RONVAUX. s/s TAVANNES, 10 Cal. 150 on Fort MOULAINVILLE, 10 Cal. 150 on Fort de TAVANNES, 20 Cal. 105 in vicinity of EIX and 12 Cal. 105 on MOULAINVILLE, s/s VAUX. 290 Cal. 150 in the vicinity of vaux. 40 Cal. 150 in the vicinity of P.C. VI.. ENEMY MOVEMENT. Trains. WARCQ to ETAIN, one. ETAIN to FROMEIX, three. FROMEIX to ETAIN two. FROMEIX to MORGEMOULIN, four, Wagons. Unusual number of wagons from Ville en WOEVRE to HENNEMONT. 12:50h to 16:30h, 15 wagons and one truck seen on ROUVRES ETAIN road. Several wagons seen in HERMEVILLE, one on road to BRAQUIS and two ent ering town from GRIMACOURT. Pedestrians. During daylight hours small groups of enemy were seen on Ville en WOEVRE-HENNEMONT rond moving toward HENNEMONT. Unusual movement of small groups from GRIMACOURT to HERMEVILLE and from HERMEVILLE to BRAQUIS between 3:30h and 14:55h At 10:10h, thirity men were observed moving from south toward point 0-30.71 where they disappeared. VII. ENEMY WORKS. Enemy observed working on camouflage at point 0-73.31 VIII, ENEMY AERONAUTICS: Two single. planes fired machine guns into our lines. One patrol of fivevenemy planes over sector during. period.
