FIELD ORDER
TROMAN
American xxped.Forces
17 November, 1918
ARCIANES
No. 24.
I. The 129th Field Artillery will soon be moved by rail to a
training area. The Regiment will entrain at DUGNY.
II.
On 18th November, 1918, the 139th Field Artillery will com-
mence hauling all of their material to the Railhead at DUGNY.
III. (a) At 8:00 hour, November 18, 1918, all available horses,
properly harnessed, of the lst (Firet) Battalion, 129th F.A., will re-
port to Battery A, 129th F.A., at LA BEHOLLE. At the same hour all
horses, properly harnessed, of the 2nd (Second) Battalion, 139th F.A.,
will report to Battery D, 139th F.A., AT LA BEHOLLE. These batteries
will immediately proceed to haul all of thair material, except as pro-
vided in Paragraph LV (d), this order, to DUGNY where it will be parked
at location selected.
(b) As soon as the material of Batteries A and D has been
placed in park at DUGNY the horses of each Battalion will report to
the next battery of their Battalión in alpaabetical order. This to be
followed until material of the tw o Battalions has been transported to
DUGNY.
(o) This movement will be completed as soon as possible
without unduly tiring the animals of the Regiment Two (3) round trips
a day, four (4) horses to each carriage, should be accomplished.
(d) The Supply Company, 129th F.A., will haul all vehicles
of their organization that are not in use or as provided in Paragraph
LV (d) this order, using their own animals. This movement to be com-
pleted as soon as possible and as soon as completed the Commanding
Officer of the Supply Company will notify the Commanding Officer of
129thField Artillery the number of teams available to assist in trans-
porting material of Batteries.
(e) The Headquarters Company will proceed according to same
order as given to Supply Company.
IV
(a) Battery A, 139th Field Artillery, is designated as Guard
Battery and will prodeed to DUGNY with all of their personnel and
equipment and will furnish a guard for the material of the Regiment
after it has been parked at DUGNY. Billets will be arranged for
Battery A by Brigade Billeting Officer.
107 All troops, with the exception of Battery A, will remain in
thei present Campe until further orders.
(c) All animals will be kept in their present echelons except
those which are unserviceable. These will be evacuated immediately by
Veterinary Corps to the Mobile Veterinary Unit of the 8lst Division at
DUBNY.
(d) All rolling kitchens, ration and water carts and sufficien

which must be kept at the present camps, with exception of Battery A,
will not be moved until further orders,
