FUGITIVE TARGET ADJUSTMENT. Target to be indicate ed by co-ordinates of point of reglage. This will be center of target if stationary, or point in advance of head of column if moving. Example - Call - Gov. G 8 X 5 Reg. At signal from observer battery fires one salvos of shrapnel and two of H. E. as quickly as possible. Correction is sent for mean point of impact for deflection and range with reference to point of adjustment. When correction is less than 500 meters the adjustment is considered finished and the battery displays "fire for effect".
