Headquarters 35th Division American Expeditionary Forces 10th January 1919. 2nd MEMORANDUM: To All Athletic Officers. 751 1. A General Order has been issued by Division Headquarters providing for at least one hour's athletic instruction each day. Athletic Officers will prepare a definite schedule for this period using the following schedule as a guide, adapting it to suit local conditions. Care must be used to make this work attractive to the men and keep them active and interested throughout the period. Details on further plans will be submitted later. In giving setting- up exercises effort should be made to vary them. Recreational games may consist of any standard games. Competitive games may consist of any relays, individual competitions or short runs.
