(a) Infantry- Generally normal. Some activity against our patrols. Usual
grenade fire, and active in P.A. LEH ATT in s/s GASCHNEY.
(b) M. G. - Normal at 7:00 h L.G. at 452.6-130.6 very active on HILSENFIRST,
several bursts also from 452.8-139.0 (?) s/s GASCHNEY, quist in s/s des
LACS and BICHTSTEIN.
(c) I. Slight increase, 22 shells on HILSENFIRST, BOIS EN BROSSE and
STORCHENRUNZ, 8 on SONDERNACH, 28 small shells on our lines >between 451.2
133.9 and 451.1-134.3 from ILIEN KOPF at 735 to 9:25 h, 5 shells on HILL
664 and lo on KIOSQUE. Active from KLANGLE (s/s GASCHNEY, with 30 shells
from 454.1-139.8 at 6:37 h, 20 at 18:50 h and tivo which fell at 451.3
137.4 at 19:43 h. Below normal in s/s des LACS and s/s BICHTSTEIN.

AERONAUTICS.
(a) Planes: - Little activity. At 2:05 h a.n unidentified plane heard over
STORCHENRUNZ. One other over s/s D. Nil ov er S S E. At 2:00 h a blane
over s/s GASCHNEY dropped on red star. At 6:50 h a plane from east
crossed sur line at STOSSWIHR, then west over SCHALLERENKOPF to s.v. This
plane fired en by both our and enemy A.A. guns without effect. One at
1:25 h over des LACS s/s toward s. W. and noise of meter reported over s/s
BICHTSTEIN at 1:30 h. One plane low over GERARDMER at 23:15 h whi.ch
drepped two lights and was fired on by A.A.
