129th Field Artillery FIELD ORDER A.P.O. #743 No. 4 2 September 1918 11:00 AM Hachured Map Lure 1 50,000 I. This regiment will march to VAGNEY and ZAINVILLER via VENTRON, CORNIMONT and SAULXURES. II. The order of march will be as follows: Regtl. Hq. and Detail lst.Bn.Hq. and Detail Details Btry. A,B, and C Firing batteries A, B and C 2nd.Bn.Hq. and Detail Details Btry. D, E and F Firing Batteries D, E and F Regtl. Medical Detachment TRUMAN Combat Train: Btry. A.B,C,D,E & F LIBRARY Field Train; in two (2) sections, RECORDS (1) Forage and ration section, consisting of SERVICE" GEVERNMENT water cart, ration cart, ration wagon, rolling kitchen and forage wagon, of each organization, as follows: Hq Co., Btry. A,B,C,D,E and F, and Supply Company. &. Younger C 0 1st. Bn. (2) Baggage section: Hq Co., Btry. A,B,C,D, E &F, and Supply Co. Detachment of Military Police consisting of three (3) men. III.a.Regtl.Hq. and Detail will leave church at Kruth Major Miles at 5:00 AM 3 September 1918. Batteries will b. 0 0 2nd. Bn. follow at five (5) minute intervals. Major Gates b. Combat Train will leave church at KRUTH at 5:45 0. C 0 Combat Train AM 3 September 1918. Lt. Kennedy c.Field Train will leave church at KRUTH at 6:15A d. C 0 Supply Train 3 September 1918. Capt. Jobes d. Upon arrival at VENTRON & halt will be made of sufficient time to regulate the regiment, after which the column will proceed on the march, keep ing closed up and distance of 50m between every tenth carraige. A red disc will be shown in rear of every tenth carraige. e. The motor trucks will be under the supervision of the Supply Officer. f. The C.O. of the Supply Co. will assign space in baggage wagons for personal property of each Officer. Motorcycle Orderlies will proceed the column at a distance of 200m, acting as ground scouts. IV. Upon arrival at VAGNEY and ZAINVILLERS the Bill ing Officer and N.C.Os. will meet each organiza tion and guide them to their billets, picket lin and gun park. V.
