The following 30 Corpe order which the Army Commander desires given special attention and pablished to all divisions will be read to all organizations as soon after ito recoipt as the organizations can conveniently be assembled° P.C. These statements were absolutely incorrect becaase farther rosistance was not uscless and no officer had advised surrender. Nevertheless, because of lack of training and understanding, the results were as followe: Out of 190 of our troops engaged in this fight, a few were killed or womded, aboat 30 retreated fighting and escaped, and perhaps 140 surrendered or were captared. 2. A person who spreads sich an alarn is either an enemy in miform, or one of oar awn troops who 1e disloyal and a traitor, or one of our own troops who has become a panic stricken egvard. It is the duty of every officer and soldier to kill on the spot any person who In a fight arges or advises enyone to surrender or to stop fighting.
