This is confirmed by statements of prisoners of the lst Guard Division. 5th Bavarian Reserve Division - An officer prisoner of the 36th Reserve Regiment, 7th Reserve Pivision, states that the 5th Bavarian Reserve Division was to arrive at DANNEVOUX the night of September 25th to be in readiness for counter-attack.
