1. At 17 hours October 18, 1918, the 139th Field Artillery
will
assume the protective barrage ni ssions listed below. The numbors
assigned the batteries are, mith the exception of No. 20, the dame as
those used by the Artillery of 15th French Colonial Division. The
barrage zonea are assigned numbers as shown on Barrage Map of even
date, copy of which is attached;

3. The normal protective barr go of ench battery stall be a
standing bargage in the zone indicated which shall be laid upon rooket
signal, telephone or other oall, by the Infantry Regiment, which the
particular battery ia supporting and will be fired as follows:

Upon repetition of signal or oall, the barrage will be rot
peated.
4. The oventual barrage will be fired only upon request by the
Infantry Regiment or Erigade concerned or on ordern from these Head-
quarters. Their duration and rate of fire shall be the same ao those
of the normal bazzago.
5. Herowfter the 139th T.A. will support the following Infan-
