American Exped.Forces 28 October, 1918 FIELD ORDER ( ETAIN A 1/20,000 MAPS No. 16 L. a A demonstration by Artillery will tak e place on the front of the 33rd Corps d'Armee on J day, from H minus 2 hour to H plus 1 hour, in which the 139th Field Artillery will participate. B. J day and H hour will be announced by a lter order. II a, On J day at H minus 2 hour to H plus 1 hour 8 guns of the 2nd Battalion, 139th F.A., will fire a total of 1800 rounds on the following objectives: 1. TRANCHEE WILLISON o 48-37 to 56-38 2. TREN CH Junction at o 56-40 b. 6 guns will fire on TRANCHEE WILLISEN and 2 guns en TRENCH Junction. Both objectives will be fired upon simultaneously. O. Rate of fire will be as follows: ARCHIVES s. "NATIONAL RECORDS AND 2 rounds per gun per minute for 45 minutes 1 round per gun per minute for 135 minutes s d. The Commanding Officer, 2nd Battalion, will designate 3 guns from 2 batteries and a guns from the remaining battery to fire the above mission. The remaining guns of the 2nd Battalion will be kept laid on normal barrage. This should be so adjusted that the gun that is withdrawn from fire for cooling and cleaning purposes will be laid on normal barrage and its mission as above immediately continued by fresh gun formerly laid on normal barrage. III. a. On J day at H minus 2 hour to H plus 1 hour the lst Battalion, 129th F.A . a will fire a total of 1200 rounds per battery upon the following objectives: Battery A 1 Dug-outs at TRANCHEE des KAPOUTS, Coord. T 81-89.5 to T 83088 and from T 84.5-87 to T 86-86 to T 87-84.5 2 Dug-out at GARE de TRANSBORDT Coord. T 84.5-82 to T 87.5-83 Battery B 1 cantonment in east part of BOIS de MORANVILLE Coord.
