    "ocrText": "Artillery repair trucks, artillery supply trucks, and\nlight ropair truck, provided for the maintenance of the artillery\nand motor transportation of the Division may be turned in at\nSouhesmes if desired. If those vohicles are thought to be necessary\nuntil the disposal of the motor transport of the Division, they\nmay be retained for the overlend march, as directed in peragraph 5\nof the instructions from the Chief of staff, Second Army.\nthe crtillery harness on hand in the Division may also be\nturned in at Souhesmes at the same time as the artillery. While\nthe instructions contained in the letter referred to state that this\nharness will be boxed or socked, if thi S cannot be followed out it\nwill be satisfoctory to have the harness well tied up with twine or\nrope, one set to a bundle. The harness should be thoroughly\ncleaned and , oiled either before departure for or after arrival at\nSouhesmes.\nReferring to the cleaning and greesing of the trectors and\nertillery meterial preparatory for shipment and storage, itis\nsuggested that this be delayed until after crrival at Souhe sme s.\n2. Machine guns, automatic rifles, pistols, 37 mm. equipment,\n3\" Stokes equipment, etc. in excess of those to be carried by the\ntroops, and machine gun carts, machine gun fire control equipment,\nand eii other accessories, should be turned in to the Machine Gun\nand Small Arms Conter at Void. Artillery fire control equipment,\npersonal equipment in excess of thrt carried by the troops, and dl\nother miscelleneous ordnance not provided for above, should be\nturned in at Souhesmes.\nJ. K.
