The following is published for the information and guidance
of all concerned.
Applications must reach these Headquarters on or before
February 14th in order to be considered.

Number 4038 0-5. Opportunity has been offered officers and
Soldiers to attend as students at French and British Universities.
Prench Universities offer extensive courses in Letters, Science,
Is Vr and Medical. British Universities general university sub-
jects of high grade. qualifications of applicants, college
graduate or a minimum of two years college work dr its equivalent.
Moderate knowledge of Trench desirable for French Universities.
officers and Soldiers will receive commutation of subsistence at
two dollars per day and reimbursement for actual cost of rooms,
to
rent not/exceed one dollar per day. Total fees for full number
of courses about two hundrea fifty Franes to be paid by student
Orficer or Soldier. Equipment for soldiers, full pack withou t
arms or ammunition. Creat care will be exercised in making select-
ions, only men of excellent military character will be chosen.
In order to determine deman and make decision telegraphic report
of number of Officer applicants and Soldier applicants, your
organization, addressed to A G 00 I S 5 G H Q will be made
