Particular attention to be paid to precision of execution) Preparation of packs, method of making and adjustment - 1 hour Afternoon Drill period for all men Close order Drill One day each week the afternoon period will be devoted to a road march in full pack. Band: The Band will practice daily. On one afternoon each week it will be sent to the battalions alternately for practioe in marching at which timea it will play both moving and at a halt. General: Saturday morning will be devoted to inspection in full paok by battery commanders. Officers: All officers will attend all drills with their orginizations Careful study of Infantry Drill Regulations and Dismounted Drill for Field Ar- tillery will be made in order to insure the utmost precision in the ex- ecution of all movements. Daily inspection of billets, latrines, kitchens stables and surroundings will be made by Battery Commanders. (a) One officer from each battery will inspect meals and supervise the issue of same to determine suitability as to quality and quantity. Surgeons will inspect latrines, kitchens billets, etc. daily, report- ing to this office whether Excellent, Good, Fair, etc. (b) fon-commiasioned Officers Drills with Organizations (o) Specialists will be combined with Headquarters Company and drilled as a unit. (d) Batteries supervised by Battalion Commanders when particular attention will be paid to personal cleanliness, condition of clothing and equipment as to cleanliness, adjustment and shortages, bearing and steadiness of men in ranks.
