1. A board of Officers, to consist of
Lieut. Colonel walter J. Warner, 128 th Field Artillery,
Lieut. Colonel James E. Rieger, 138th Infantry, and
Major Randall Wilson, 140th Infontry,
is appointed to meet at Lerouville Barracks at 10:00
A.M., March 3rd, 1919, or as soon thereafter as practicable, to
select and recommend the adoption of a design of a distinctive
button or pin, to be worn if desired with civilian clothes by
members of the Division after their discharge from the service.
Anyone wishing to submit to the board any design for
the button or pin, or any ideas connected with its selection,
may do SO.
It is proposed to get, if possible, the approval of
the War Department of the design, and to protect it by securing
patent rights to it.
