The following will be excused from regular instruction:
1 "mess seargeant,9 1X company supply sedgeamt, 2 cooks,, 2
kitchen police, one non-commissioned officer ini charge of
quarters, and for the last three dyas of the month 1 company
clerk in each organization. The only other men excused will
- be the sick guard, Regimental fatigue and men detailed to the
Schools The division. Where school work is
directed in afternoon onlys students will attend, drill with
I organizations in the morning.

In each regiment all daiPy guard and fatigue details
will be taken from the same company, leaving the remainder
of this, company and the remaing companies of the regiment
intact for drill and instruction.
5. It is absolutely essential thatthe instruction be

thoröugh in all subjects from the start, as the effectivene
and 'safety of the division later will depend entirely on the

efficiency developed in the training, schools for officers and
noncommissioned officers will be held nightly, except Sqturday
and Sunday, from 7:00 to 8:30 P. M., in company mess halls,

and will be devoted to a review of the day's work and care-
ful preparation for the work of the next, day. All company
