Murray T. Colgan, being first duly sworn,
states that he knew James J. Robinson during his lifetime, and
states that the said James J. Robinson died testate during the year
1895, leaving surviving him his widow, Sarah A. Robinson, and that
the said James J. Robinson left surviving him no children nor any
descendants of any deceased child.
Affiant states that the J. J. Robinson, whose will
was admitted to probate on the 27th day of September, 1895, and is
recorded in the Office of the Probate Court of Jackson County,
Missouri, at Independence, is the same person as James J. Robinson
named as Grantee in a certain deed from William B. Carmichael and
wife, recorded in Book 50, at Page 452.
Affiant further states that he is a son of Rochester
Colgan, to whom was devised by the will of James J. Robinson, the
West Half (1/2) of the Northwest Quarter (1/4) of the Northeast
Quarter (1/4) of Section 9, Township 48, Range 32, in Jackson County,
Missouri.
Affiant states that Sarah A. Robinson, the widow
of James J. Robinson, died on the 0:Feb 1924 and that
affiant's father, Rochester Colgan died intestate on the 27th day
of March, 1902; that his father left surviving him his widow, Emily R.
Colgan, who is still living, and four children, Murray Colgan,
this affiant, Myrae E. Colgan,a daughter, Fred R. Colgan, a son, and
Mary V. Colgan, a daughter, and further states that his father left
surviving him no other child or children and no d escendants of any
deceased child.
Affiant states that he is the same person named as
Murray Colgan in the application for Letters of Administration upon
the Estate of his father, and states that Mary V. Colgan named in
said application for Letters, is the same person as Mary Colgan
Romine named as Grantor in the quit-claim deed recorded in Book, 480
