COUNTY OF JACKSON) BERNEICE SHUMAKER and HERBERT NOLAND, of lawful age, being first duly sworn, upon their oaths state that 47 they are each more than years of age and have lived all their lives on or near Holke Road East of Independence, in Jackson County, Missouri, and during their lifetimes have been familiar with and know that property legally described as the South Half of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 8, Town ship 49, Range 31, except one (1) acre in the Southwest Corner thereof used for school purposes. Affiants state that said property was acquired more than fifty years ago by Anna D. Geiger from various Stayton heirs, and that the said Anna D. Geiger and her husband, C. V. Geiger, went into possession thereof, and that said property later, through various mesne conveyances, was conv eyed to Lois A. (Smith) Larsen. Affiants state that the said Anna D. Geiger and C. V. Geiger and the various grantees from their ownership to the present ownership have, for more than fifty years, been in open, notorious, exclusive and adverse possession of said property; that the property has been fenced and they have paid the taxes thereon, and in all of said period of time, to these affiants knowledge, no other person or persons have maintained or asserted any right, title, interest or claim therein.
