8,000 in Italy, over 20,000 in Norway, almost 6,000 foremen and
some 650 executive in Turkey; plus hundreds to thousands in the

Digests and Abstracts of Technical Articles

A comprehensive digest, abstract, and bibliography
service drawn from over 300 American industrial, agricultural, and
trade journals was provided to support the efforts of European
enterprises undertaking improvements in productivity, and to
provide a flow of information on innovations in methods and
technology taking place in the U.S. For sectors abroad in which
activities were underway to improve plant and process operations,
relevant U.S. journal articles were screened and selected by
professional engineering staffs. Many of the articles selected and
