THE SECRETARY OF STATE
WASHINGTON, D.C.
DEPARTMENT OF STATE
WASHINGTON
October 2, 1945.
AIR MAIL
Dear Miss Fite:
All the members of the office have read your letter
of September 3 and you have probably already heard from
some of them.
Now that you have moved to Nuremberg, your work
should take on a more direct and practical aspect and
perhaps become more interesting and absorbing, despite
the less favorable living conditions.
We shall be interested in hearing from you from
time to time and particularly of the part that you are
playing with the prosecuting staff.
Affairs here are moving along in the usual stride
with considerable step-up in momentum but with only one
addition to the staff thus far.
With kind personal regards,
Sincerely yours,
TRUMAN
