I presided to ascertain the Secretary General's wishes on this matter, and subsequently reported that the arrangements would be agreeable to the Secretary General. Following this meeting, I initiated the telepron to USUN saking it to consult with the Secretary General and other delegations, and setting forth as the Department's tentative view that in addition to transmitting all offers of assistance and relief and support to the littlied Commend the Secretary General should be the or center for commediations between the United Command Member Nations, ECOSOC, the specialised agencies, and .
