UN-SYG has received following telegram dated 29 August
DCR
from Kingsley, DG IRO, Geneva:
"Regret inform you due difficulty procure air transport
and budgetary limitations IRO unable move medical supplies
Munich to Tokyo.
New subject: To my best knowledge and belief Uit Den
Bogaard and Edward Francel thoroughly committed objectives
United Nations in Korea and in no respect security risks" o
As UN-SYG is already receiving urgent complaints from UN
Commander Korea regarding delay in arrival Public Health
Teams and medicaments and as there is possibility embarrass-
ment both UN and US if excessive delay became known to public
or other member governments, urgently request Department urge
UC accept and call forward medicaments and personnel referred
to above which are offered specifically in response to UC
requests.
