Jan 13,1946 Dear Captain Parks : with this am sending reproductions of some sketches and cartoons I made while a P.O.W. These were reproduced by requests of fellow sojourners in Nippon - non profit. Mother did the pasting cutting - so to her goes most of the credit for work involved. Nothing gruesome has been drawn Most of these were intended to portray the lighter side of P. O. W. life.
