WASHINGTON
November 27, 1946
Dear Martha Ann:
I found your note on my desk when I got
back from home Sunday and I was, of course,
glad to get it. It was a nice dinner and I
think everybody enjoyed it. I am sure mamma
felt much better after everybody had arrived.
I believe everybody in the United States is
interested in John L. Lewis and what is going
to happen to him. There is not very much
that can be done to him but what little there
is, we will try to do it.
It was nice of you to write me.
Sincerely yours
Uncle they
