ROSS: I think I will have to guess. Last time I saw\nthe Prime Minister take a drink he took an old-fashioned cocktail.\nI would assume he did the same thing this time. The President took\nthe same. You don't want the arrangement at the lunch, then?\nQ: No, this is all that is necessary.\nMR. ROSS: I have a little piece I will read to you:\nThe President and the Prime Minister held their second\nmeeting this afternoon on board the WILLIAMSBURG. They resumed their\ndiscussion of the situation in Korea and the steps to be taken to meet\nit. There will be a further meeting of the President and the Prime\nMinister at 11.30 tomorrow, Wednesday morning, at the White House.\nQ: Charlie, can you comment on the story from London --\nQ: (interposing) Are you through?\nMR. ROSS: I am through.\nQ: Excuse me - can you comment on the story from London\nthat they agreed to a re-invasion of Korea?\nMR. ROSS: There is no truth in that. It was not mentioned.\nNo.\nQ: Say that again, sir?\nMR. ROSS: Let me withdraw that and say this? It has already\nbeen denied . accurately denied it was denied in the same story\nthat carried the big headline.\nQ: Anyhow you are denying it here?\nMR. ROSS: I deny it here, yes.\nQ: What reinvasion?\nMR. ROSS: You will see it in the headlines.
