BRUCE
Bulgaria and Greece are in a little trouble but does not think it
will mean much.
LOVETT.
Have developed a new technique in air action in Korea - is a
combination of tactical and strategic bombing which is very effective.
We are now sucking in Mig 15 planes - which have previously been parked
in Manchuria. We are now facing Chinese pilots - the Russians have ap-
parently pulled out of air activity.
MCGRANNERY
Will have a report for the President on the U. S. Lines case next
week. We will pick up several million dollars gor the government. J.
Edgar Hoover is very worried about the fact that atomic bombs may be
brought into the U. S. in small parts. Thinks we should void immunity
of diplomats and inspect all ba ggage.
THE PRESIDENT
This works both ways and we should be careful not to cut off our
own advantage.
CHAPMAN
If we get into an all out war civilian aviation will be completely
crippled. We have no stockpile of aviation gasoline.
