    "ocrText": "SECTET\nInformal Translation from Russian\nMARSHAL ZHUKOV'S REPORT ON REMOVAL BY THE\nALLIES OF EQUIPMENT AND OTHER PROPERTY FROM\nTHE FACTORIES IN THE SOVIET ZONE OF OCCUPA*\nTION.\nTo the Commander in Chief\nGenerallissimo of the Soviet Union\nJ. STALIN.\nHereby I report that the Americans and British when with-\ndrawing from the Soviet zone of occupation, i.e., from the territory of\nSaxony, Thuringen, and province of Saxo ny and province of Meklenburg re-\nmoved the following equipment, property and technical experts:\nMoraleben near the town of Helmstadt, Province of Saxony from the aviation\nequipment plant of the Company \"Ascania Werke\" in the salt\nmines were removed to Braunschweig:\n200 universal metal-cutting machine-tools;\nAll technical documentation;\nAll optical instruments from the laboratory.\nTown of Hadmetaleben near town of Oschetsleben (Saxony) ; the Junkers under-\nground plant in the salt mines:\nAll the optical instruments were damaged, the microscope\nand micro-photocamera's lenses were removed.\nUnseburg near town of Stassfuhrt; From the underground plant of the B.M.W.\nCompany in the salt mines were removed:\nS.\n(a) All technical documentation for new motors and the\nturbine 0018;\nus\n(b) Chief designer of the new reactive turbine 0018 and\na group of technical experts with their families were taken away.\nTown of Schenebeck: from the Junkers' plant producing HE-162 aircraft were\nremoved:\n(a) 50 turbines of the firm B.M.W. were dismantled from\nthe finished HE-162 aircraft;\n(b) Chief engineer of the plant and a group of technical\nexperts with their families.\nBeendorf near town of Helmstadt; from the Siemmens plant situated in the\nsalt mines, the pit \"Maria\", for the production of the avi-\nation equipment and autopilots for the V-I and V-2 aircraft\nwere removed:\nDECLASSIFIED\nE.O. 11652, Sec. 3(E) and 5(D) or (E)\nDept. of State letter, Aug. 10, 1972\nDate 6.29.76"
