I have also heard from our Ambassador at Moscow about Harry Hopkins' latest conversation with Stalin on the 6th June. I agree with you that he has obtained the best solution we could hope for in the circunstances, although he has not obtained substantial satisfaction on any of Mikolajczyk¹S points summarized in my Number 73. The Foreign Office have explained the resulting situation to Mikolajczyk who confirms that he and Stanczyk are still ready to go to Moscow in response to an invitation from the Commission of Three.
