This is to acknowledge your request of May 21,
1949.
The 1949 Montana Legislature proposed a Senate
Joint Resolution to limit the number of Presidential terms
to two. This Resolution passed in the Senate, but was killed
in the House. Consequently, it was never sent to Congress.
