President
President Pro Tempore
FLORIDA STATE SENATE
ROBERT W. DAVIS, Secretary
TALLAHASSEE
~
May 10, 1949
Mr. Daniel Francis Clancy,
P. 0. Box 322,
Springfield, Ohio.
My dear Mr. Clancy:-
I heartily agree with you with reference to the
tenure of office for Presidents of the United States. The
information which you furnished me will be passed on to the
other members of the Senate.
However, I would suggest that you mail this in-
formation to Senator Wallace A. Sturgis, Capitol Building,
Tallahassee, Florida, who is President Designate of the 1951
Florida Senate; Senator W. A. Shands, Capitol Building, Talla-
hassee, Florida; and Senator LeRoy Collins, Capitol Building,
Tallahassee, Florida. These men are very influential in the
Senate and no doubt could have an influence on the final ac-
tion of this matter.
I am
the
$ 100 erely yours, Shoviam
