OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT
MASSACHUSETTS SENATE
STATE HOUSE, BOSTON
CHESTER A. DOLAN,JR.
PRESIDENT
June 7, 1949
Mr. Daniel Francis Clancy
Nat. Com. Against Limiting the Presidency
P. 0. Box 322
Springfield, Ohio
Dear Mr. Clancy:
I was pleased not only once but twice to cast
the deciding vote which defeated the so-called two
term amendment. I believe that if this matter was
called to the attention of the people in an intelli-
gent and sensible way they would feel as you and I
do.
In so far as the assachusetts General Court
is concerned this year, the issue is dead.
Sincerely yours,
(hester a. Dolan Jon.
Chester A. Dolan, Jr.
