The of Massachusetts
House nf Representatifres
State House,
May 1, 1950.
Daniel Francis Clancy, Director,
National Committee Against Limiting
the Presidency,
P. 0. Box 322,
Springfield, Ohio.
Dear Sir:
His Excellency the Governor, Paul A. Dever,
has forwarded to me your letter to him
dated April 17 requesting information on
the ratification of the proposed 22nd
Amendment to the Federal Constitution.
During the current session the House of
Representatives passed Senate Resolutions,
No. 189, but they were rejected in the
Senate. For your convenience I am enclosing
a copy of the same.
The Massachusetts General Court is still
in session and I should judge that it
probably will be until the latter part of
June. This is merely a guess, however, as
noone can determine the exact date of
prorogation.
Yours very truly,
hurrence R. Grove
Clerk of the House
of RRepresentatives.
