Writes Judge Patterson in ro the Jewish displaced persons. States that in his travela
through the U.S. Zono in Germany to the assembly ceuters for these persons that
he met with the Central Committoo of the Libereted Jowa of Devaria, located in Munich.
This committee is an ageney created by the Jowish displaced porsons residing in several
centors in the vicinity of Mamich. They asked hin to tranamit to President Truman n
numbered copy of the first iqsue of their weokly journal, as the historie symbol of thoir
newly won Sec. of War, Nov. 8th, wote to the President transmitting the
letter from Judge Rifkind and the coyy of the President, Nov. 12th, wrote
the Sec. of Tar thanking him for his note and the journel published by the Contral Con-
mittee of the Liberated Jowa of Bevaria. The President said he wes returning the Judge's
letter to the Secretary.
