August 4, 1950
Honorable Harry S. Truman
President of the United States
Washington, D. C.
Dear Sir:
At a recent meeting of our organization we adopted
the enclosedcresolution. The St. Joseph Junior
Chamber of Commerce has a membership of 380 young
men between the ages of 21 and 36.
Although the resolution is self explanatory our
members intend to fight not only Compulsory Health
Insurance legislation but also any other so called
planned economy bills which we believe to be only
political expedience and the damnation of our free
enterprise system.
Yours very truly,
Sam)Magers Sam magers
