Truman, President, c/o The White House, Washington, D. C. Con G Dear Mr. Truman:- At last you have suggested the American plan to bring about prosperity and kill inflation, which is production. This Roosevelt Communist adminstration has promoted inflation for the last 12 or 15 years. They taxed the American people to kill our hogs, cows, sheep, burn our wheat, plow under dur cotton, etc. Also, they taxed the American people to pay men and women to loaf, and the bad part you are still doing it. There are hundreds of thousands of ablebodied men and women in Texas alone receiving $20.00 per week to loaf, and still you want to bring in thousands from Mexico to help loaf at $20.00 per head. How are we going to feed the world if we can't produce? Leave it to your CIO Communist gang and they will tell you how to do it, which is destroy the American business system. Kick Chester Bowles out. Abolish the OPA. Abolish 2000 bureaus and commissions like you said you would do. Tell Russia to go jump in the creek. Don't agree to loan them a dime. They cuss our free American system and them want our money. They are promoting and planing the next war. Roosevelt was a party to it. Take Government out of our business. No umpire can umpire the game if he tnies to do the bating. We business men will build one, two of fivé homes if you will kill off that Communist NAR-OPA fake-finders. The business men has always kept up the necessary building until this Roo sevelt-Hopkins Communist mang stuck their big nose in our business. There is no record where they have helped anything except the CIO crooks. You are to blame for all these strikes We got lawys to jail that gang but you don't dare to obey and inforcê the law to do it. You are to blame for the fillbuster for 24 days. You should of known that you could never ramn such a fool bill down our throats. Thinks of the good you could of done by keeping that Communist CIO bill from Congress. You see now your own supporters are turning against you. That's what this CIO Communist will always do. We beg you to give them a kick in the pants and get back the American way of life like you were taught. The American people will support you on such a plan.
