Bine RECORDS Dear Mr. President: Con - R I am a consumer and I realize that with ceilings off we are bound to have inflation - but we have inflation anyway -- so why kid ourselves? Why spend millions of taxpayers' dollars for regimentation and regulation that only puts millions into the pockets of black market operators and corrects no evils? What good does it do to raise wages, if industry is squeezed dry and has to close its doors? Then there will be no jobs at any wage! How about all the vets coming back to civilian life? Will they want to gamble their savings on going into a business - of whatever nature - if they cannot be assured a profit. And if there are no new business enterprises, where will we get the jobs for all the boys and girls being released from service and the boys and girls graduating from school? I well remember NRA - a very noble experiment that closed up business after business because business could not survive Government regulations. PLEASE - let's put an end to OPA and all its evils before it's too late. I am a firm believer in the competitive spirit and
